The Art Center participates in a popular local scholarship program designed to provide a scholarships to qualified seniors graduating from Estes Park High School.  In recent years, a number of community organizations and businesses have contributed more than $100,000 annually to the Estes Park Local Scholarship Awards Program.

The Art Center awards a $1000 scholarship annually to a qualified student who plans to pursue a course of study in the visual arts and can document their study/interest in art during their high school years. High school seniors apply for specific community scholarships through the school early each spring. Scholarship awards are presented in May each year in the high school auditorium, and a large, enthusiastic crowd of parents, friends and students are on hand to cheer the winners on.

2018 Art Center Scholarship winner Hanna Bergsten receives her award from Board President Diana Wade and Education Committee Member Mary Benke.
