I’m a mixed media collage artist based in Northern Colorado, bringing a career in literature and writing to visual narratives of memory, emotion, and human experience. My practice revolves around expressive line and form that tell stories both overt and ambiguous. Faces—created with raw energy and layered emotion—often serve as entry points into these narratives, hinting at hidden meanings and histories left untold.

 

Working with a wide array of materials, including acrylic, soft and oil pastel, ink, graphite, charcoal, and paper, I combine traditional media with found objects and carefully sourced antique photographs and ephemera. These elements carry with them a reflection of lives once lived, offering both inspiration and dialogue within the work. Through my visual stories, I aim to evoke unspoken feelings and forgotten memories that linger just beneath the surface.

 

My expressionist style embraces contradiction: humor and melancholy, chaos and control, nostalgia and irreverence. Every piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and connect—both with the image and with one’s own internal landscape.
