I’ve been doing nature photography for the past 15 years, following my slogan of producing high quality art inspired by the natural world. I aim to capture unique moments in time in a way that will connect with the viewers of my work in an emotional way. Often this means anticipating those special moments and being there to capture them when it all comes together.
While living in the Chattanooga area, before moving to Colorado, I sold photos to Blue Ridge Country magazine for stories about the city. In 2008, I won the Best in Show award and 1st place in one of the categories of the Picture 2Morrow art contest in Chattanooga. In 2009, I won 1st place in 2 categories of the Picture 2Morrow contest. After moving to Colorado, I was selected to exhibit in the 2017 Exploring the Light Photo Show at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Most recently, one of my photos was selected to appear on the Nikon USA Instagram account in December 2018. I am not currently exhibiting in any venues at this time. All my fine art print products are produced locally by Duraplaq in Longmont, Colorado. I take pride in the high quality of my products, produced with eco-friendly materials.
