2008 Summer Barlow classes at the Art Center

The John Barlow fund is a memorial fund set up in memory of John Barlow.  He was a carpenter, and extraordinary father and grandfather.  His daughter Jenny Northcutt, and her mother, Michael Barlow are the founders of the fund.  The Art Center of Estes Park is the custodian of the fund.

John loved art and he loved children.  He would often attend art classes with his children and grandchildren.  John believed that art was the key to helping children develop both social and educational capabilities.  It is the wish of the Barlow family that the money in the John Barlow Fund goes towards children exploring and learning about art.

The Barlow classes are offered at a very low $5.00 cost.  Scholarships for the $5.00 stipend are available to help with that cost if a child cannot afford it. Parents, grandparents or guardians are welcomed and encouraged to accompany and participate in the class with their child for an intergenerational art experience.    Please call the Art Center to Register or for questions at 970-586-5882.
