Del Hope became interested in Photography as a youth. His mother worked in the photo darkroom at Colorado A&M/CSU from 1925 until she retired in 1972. Del spent many hours with her watching images appear in the developer. Del's commercial photography career began in 1987 photographing models for a clothing manufacturer. Although photographing people, especially dancers is his passion, he is excited about many aspects of this business including contract commercial work. Fine art photography is an area that continues to stimulate his creativity. Producing images that do not exist in nature is a favorite challenge for Del. Meeting with commercial clients or individuals and presenting them with a product they value is his greatest satisfaction.
