Working in the impressionistic style, Lloyd captures nature's wonders, expressing her vision for others' enjoyment. Her use of color and light, a great passion for flowers and the outdoors, combine to make her paintings alive and vibrant.

Charlotte is on a never-ending journey of learning, beginning with art studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Throughout an executive business career, she continued her study of technical skills. In 1985, she moved to her present home and studio in Estes Park, Colorado, Over the last decades, she has studied with leading instructors, attending significant workshops. In return, Lloyd is sharing her knowledge with students at the Art Center of Estes Mark, as well as giving private lessons in her home studio.

She takes  pride in assuring each work of art is custom framed, using archival materials with special UV blocking non-reflective glass.

Her many exhibits, shows, contributions to worthy organizations, and gifts from the heart, make her career a unique participant to the fine arts.

Lloyd's paintings have won numerous awards and are included in private and corporate collections.
