My love affair with Estes Park began in the mid 1 960's when I traveled from my
home in Indiana each Summer to work in the shops and restaurants .
Then it was back to school and eventually marriage and kids...all the time dreaming of "someday" I'll go back! During those years I did portraits in pastels and dabbled in oils. Finally in 1990 I was able to purchase a home here and still go back and forth to my work in Fort Wayne, Indiana. where I restore and manage pre-turn of the century homes as rental units I was busy working in clay and pottery when, just 5 years ago, a childhood friend showed me the basic steps for cutting and leading stained glass and a whole new obsession began!!
Now, about 80 pieces and many commissions later I am happy to become an artist member of the Art Center of Estes Park! I enjoy free forms and open spaces and love the textures and colors glass has to offer.
