A longtime professional photography, James Frank has been photographing the western landscape for more than 25 years. Blending a passion for the outdoors with his career, Frank often snowshoes and hikes to pristine locations, camping in the back-country to document nature at its finest. Along with his wife and young daughter, Frank resides in Estes Park, Colorado, with Rocky Mountain National Park as an inspiration.

Frank's photographs are widely published in books, calendars and magazines. In 1999 his third book, James Frank's Colorado was published by Altitude Publishing. Recently, Altitude release Frank's newest work, A Portrait of Pikes Peak Country. Frank's images have also appeared in numerous advertisements for companies like American Express, L.L. Bean, DuPont, and Macy's. In conjunction with his stock photography business, his images are also available as limited-edition fine are photographic prints in select Colorado galleries.
