       A native  Hoosier, Anne moved from Indiana to Colorado in 1980. Being enchanted by the magnificent Rocky Mountains, she took brush in hand once again to give her interpretation of the new landscape. An interest in hiking and snow shoeing has added to the background so necessary for an artist to be "true" to her subject. It has truly been a labor of love and no doubt will continue to be. A true colorist at heart, Anne's oil and pastel paintings reflect an appreciation of the natural beauty of the earth.
